Local LAD members, with the assistance of the Ft. Worth Paralegal Association, were pleased and proud to host this year’s bar convention. After a year of meetings, planning, and worry over logistics, the bar convention went off without a hitch!  We were especially proud to show off our city this year since we are celebrating Ft. Worth’s 150th birthday! Judge Robert McCoy, our Annual Luncheon speaker, gave an informative, entertaining, (and sometimes racy!) account of Ft. Worth’s beginnings.  The seminar topics and speakers were wonderful, the goodie bags were stuffed to the top with great surprises, the social was upbeat with great food and entertainment, and a good time was had by all!  I look forward to next year’s convention in San Antonio, and will appreciate all the effort that goes into hosting this event more than ever.  Pat Hammer, Annual Meeting Chair
