web Wizards

Check out a new site that is pretty comprehensive—it’s http://www.lii.org and it’s the “Librarians’ Index to the Internet.” The site is broken down by subject matter, and the law section has some great links.

Also, http://www.scirus.com is a great place to go if you are looking for scientific articles.

www.expertpages.com — Experts can be located by specialty or location and a section about using experts effectively is a great resource.

www.law.cornell.edu/index.html — This server offers the LII’s collection of recent and historic Supreme Court decisions, its hypertext versions of the full U.S. Code, U.S. Constitution, Code of Federal Regulations, Federal Rules of Evidence and Civil Procedure and much more. Comprehensive coverage of federal, state, foreign and international material.

www.merck.com/pubs/mmanual — Although the latest (17th) edition is  a bit long-in-the-tooth in some areas, the Merck Manual is the best all-around medical reference source out there.
