International Business Basics
This one-hour CLE will highlight some of the key differences between the U.S. and Mexican legal systems and roles of attorneys in each jurisdiction, including the role of a Notario Publico in Mexico, which is very different from the role of a Notary Public in the U.S. You will be introduced to different types of international business transactions, some of which are obviously international in nature and some in which practitioners often inadvertently overlook the international law aspects, which can result in unwanted surprises.
