Welcome to the Division.  Congratulations on joining the Paralegal Division (PD) of the State Bar of Texas! 

You are now part of a group of over a large group of paralegals who have demonstrated their professionalism and dedication to the paralegal field.  I am sure you will enjoy the many benefits the Division has to offer.  One major benefit is our website (TXPD.org).  We suggest you take time to visit the site and familiarize yourself with the resources there.  You’ll find lots of links to explore, including links for upcoming events (menu: CLE/EVENTS), how to update your address/email address/phone numbers (menu: MEMBERSHIP > Address Change), and articles on Ethics (menu: ETHICS), just to name a few.  A list of other membership benefits can be found here (menu: MEMBERSHIP > Benefits).

A membership card will be forwarded to by the Membership Department of the State Bar of Texas in the next two to three weeks.  Please keep this card. If you misplace the card there will be a $25.00 fee to replace it.

If you been approved as either an Active or Associate member, please note that you are required to obtain at least six (6) hours of CLE, one (1) hour of the six CLE hours will need to be in Ethics (two (2) hours can be self-study) in order to renew your membership in the Paralegal Division on an annual basis.  The CLE must be obtained between June 1 and May 31 of the current year of membership.

Your User ID and password instructions are at the bottom of this message.  Please take a moment to log onto your account and edit your profile to verify that all of the information is correct.  Your user id is also known as your membership number / bar number. 

You can review and update your profile, print receipts, and manage other aspects of your account via your account.
