2024-2025 President-Elect

Pearl Garza

In February 2024, the Board of Directors announced its election of Pearl Garza as the 2024-2025 President-Elect of the Paralegal Division.

Pearl Garza is a Litigation Manager Senior in Enterprise Shared Services Counsel – Chief Legal Office at United Services Automobile Association (USAA). She received her paralegal certification from Palo Alto College and has devoted her legal career to labor and employment law. She has over 25 years of experience in employment law litigation and over 10 years as an in-house paralegal. She is an active member of the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division, currently serving as Director for District 5. She is a past President of the San Antonio Paralegal Association. Pearl and her husband, Juan, have a son who is a graduate of St. Mary’s University. In her spare time, Pearl enjoys reading, cooking, hiking and the outdoors. She also enjoys playing board games, bunco and bingo with family and friends.
