Happy Paralegal Day!

Did you know that the State Bar of Texas was the first bar association in the United States to create a separate division for paralegals?  The Paralegal Division was originally known as the Legal Assistants Division of the State Bar of Texas (the “Division”) and was created on October 23, 1981.  The Division since its inception continues to support paralegals by providing a professional association that offers continuing education and career development among other benefits to its members.

I applaud all you fantastic paralegals across this great state of ours on this our special day of recognition!  I encourage you to invite other paralegals that are not current members to join this wonderful organization and the benefits that it offers.
