Happy Paralegal Day!  The State Bar of Texas made history in the United States in 1981 when it was the first state bar of any state to form a Paralegal Division on October 23, 1981.  This year we celebrate the 40^th Anniversary of that milestone!  The Division continues to  support paralegals as it has for the past 40 years, staying true to the basic principles of its formation – to provide a professional association for paralegals to grow and focus on education and career development.

I salute all of you awesome paralegals from across this great state who have been members from the beginning and those who have joined through the years for holding true to the Paralegal Division, encouraging others to join this great organization and helping to make our “Paralegal Presence” known.
