Dear Paralegal Division Member,

My name is Priscilla Nash, and I am honored to serve as the Mentorship Chair for the State Bar of Texas – Paralegal Division. I’m reaching out to share an exciting opportunity to grow, connect, and make a difference through our Mentorship Program, available exclusively to members of the Division.

Whether you’re a seasoned paralegal or just starting your journey, this program was designed for you.

🤝 Are You Eligible to Mentor?

If you’re a voting, active member in good standing with at least seven years of paralegal experience, you can offer guidance to a member with three years or less of experience. Your support could shape a future leader in our profession.

Our vision is to build an engaged, inclusive legal community where:

Knowledge is shared freely

Professional standards rise

Every paralegal is empowered to thrive

🎁 Benefits of Participation

Protégés Will:

Learn from experienced professionals

Grow legal skills and confidence

Build meaningful connections

Receive guidance on career development*

Mentors Will:

Make a lasting impact

Share experience and ethics

Promote and support the Division

Introduce Protégés to Division functions and leadership

*Please note: Mentors do not provide legal advice or job placement services. Protégés are encouraged to be respectful of their mentors’ time and boundaries.

Over my 24-year career, I’ve had the privilege of being mentored by remarkable paralegals who encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, build new skills, and engage with our legal community. Their impact continues to inspire me.

I invite you to be that inspiration for someone else—or to seek out the guidance that will help you grow.

Let’s continue making our profession stronger—by supporting one another.
