 Description:  The presentation will cover nuts and bolts topics including applicable rules and deadlines from the date of judgment through a motion for rehearing in the Texas Supreme Court. The presentation will also include topics such as appellate standards of review, preparation of appellate records and record requests, and other topics where substantive familiarity will assist paralegals to be additionally helpful to their attorneys by potentially anticipating tasks and understanding the reasons for taking certain actions.
