STATE BAR HEALTH BENEFIT UPDATE FOR PD MEMBERS

For a limited time, the Texas Bar Private Insurance Exchange is offering all State Bar members a complimentary subscription to telehealth services, with only a $10-per-visit copay. Telehealth physicians assess symptoms remotely and determine the appropriate next steps for every patient they see.   While the limited time complimentary benefit is only available to Texas attorneys, paralegals will be able to purchase the service at the same group rates as bar members get under normal circumstances. The Member Benefits Administrator can answer any questions about the telehealth benefit, 1-800-282-8626.   If you have health insurance through the exchange there is no cost.  Otherwise, the cost is $9.00/month for the $10.00 co-pay plan, and $19.00 for the $0 co-pay plan.  https://texasbar.memberbenefits.com/telehealth/

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS – CLEs
The Paralegal Division membership renewals are just around the corner!  Here are a couple of ways to assist you if you are still in need of CLEs:
1)  DISCOUNTED WEBINARS!  Paralegal Division webinars will be reduced to $15.00 for members.  An e-blast announcement will be made shortly with the details.
2)  As a Paralegal Division member, you are eligible to register for the State Bar’s free webinars.  Here is the direct link to the Texas Bar’s free webinars:  http://www.texasbarcle.com/cle/OCFree.asp.  Texas Bar CLE is also a great resource of free self-study materials that can be counted toward your membership renewal hours.
