The TAPS Planning Committee has worked very hard to make sure you have a great event!  We have a wonderful line-up of speakers planned, fantastic socials, a great vendor hall and lots of interaction and time with your colleagues. See our schedule of events HERE.

Please read this e-blast thoroughly because it contains all the information you will need to prepare for your attendance at TAPS.

IMPORTANT Items below:

TAPS Conference App:  No later than Friday, September 22, 2023 you will receive an email invitation to the email address you provided upon registration from CVENT with the App registration instructions.  Connect with other attendees, view a list of speakers, the TAPS schedule, survey the sessions and the event, and find information about your favorite vendors.  You will also need the TAPS App to participate in the always popular Click Game.  We will have staff on-site during registration to assist with downloading the App if you are having problems.  Check out the App for all the conference details.  PLEASE NOTE:  This year in the App you will have the option to Opt-IN to sharing your contact information with our TAPS Sponsors and Exhibitors.  Be aware that some vendor door prizes may only be awarded to those attendees who have opted in to share their information.  Remember TAPS would not be possible without our TAPS Sponsors and Exhibitors!

Presentation Papers and Documents – Please download the presentations HERE.  The password is TAPS2023*.  Check back often as outstanding papers will be loaded as they are received. You will also find them in the TAPS App.  You can print for your use or download to your computer NOW.  Check back before the event for revised or additional materials.  You can also place the presentations in your own Dropbox folder to view on your tablet or handheld device (we would not recommend trying to access from this link at conference).

Vendor Hall – The vendor hall hours on Thursday are from 7:00 am to 1:30 pm.  Be sure to make your way through the vendor hall, visiting each vendor, and getting your card signed to be eligible for one of SEVEN Grand Prize drawings.

Wednesday Night Social:  A Gathering for Clues
TAPS 2023 kicks off its “I Spy CLE” week Wednesday evening with a gathering of attendees and vendors to begin our quest.  Come enjoy light snacks and cash bar and find clues to get to know your fellow partners in crime.

Thursday Night Social:   Where is the Evidence?
TAPS Thursday night dinner social will be in the Frisco Grand Ballroom where the evidence collection will begin.  But WHO has it?  Do YOU have it?  You better be prepared – because you never know what you might need to crack the case – so bring everything you think could be necessary to put the case together!  And no great spy ever works the case without his proper spy apparel and gadgets, so come dressed for sleuthing.  Good spies get rewards!

Friday Morning Session:  Bonus Points
Learn all you Need to Know about becoming an Online Notary, the statues, the correct forms and methods of identification and swearing in of persons authenticating the documents.

Friday TAPS and Paralegal Division 42nd Annual Meeting Luncheon:  The Final Analysis
TAPS concludes with our annual meeting and luncheon in the Frisco Grand Ballroom.  We will combine all our evidence with a final conclusion of the case to wrap up our spy week.  Our awesome keynote speaker, Laura Benitez Geisler will present Leading your Legacy:  The Power of Your Influence.
