About your registration…

We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming Texas Advanced Paralegal Seminar (TAPS).  We have reserved the space(s) you requested as recapped below.  If your plans change, please note the cancellation guidelines below and contact us.  We can’t promise a refund, but we would appreciate the courtesy.

Volunteer on Site: Volunteers for on-site jobs are welcomed.  We accept volunteer positions for the registration desk, speaker sign-in desk, and socials.  If you would like to help market the TAPS 2021 event and/or solicit door prizes, please let us know.  To volunteer (PD members only) on-site, complete the TAPS Volunteer Form HERE. Space is limited so sign up early.

Late Registrations:  A $35 fee is assessed for registrations after August 10, 2021 (beginning August 11, 2021).  If you register before this date and elect to pay by check, the receipt of check is due within 10 business days.  If check is not received within 10 days, your registration will automatically be canceled.  All registrations after August 10 must include the $35 late registration fee.

Prompt Payments:  If you pay by check or money order, a $5.00 processing fee will be applied, and payment is required within 10 business days of completing an order.  If you elect to pay by check and your payment is not received within 10 business days, your registration will automatically be canceled. However, if you register after September 3, 2021 your payment must be received no later than September 13, 2021. Checks should be made payable to Paralegal Division.  Mail a copy of this confirmation and your check to: Paralegal Division, P. O. Box 19163, Amarillo, TX 79114.

Refund Policy:  Refund requests must be in writing and forwarded to the Paralegal Division, P.O. Box 19163, Amarillo, TX 79114 to be received no later than Monday, September 13, 2021There will be a cancellation fee of $75 per registration (no exceptions).  No refunds will be issued for cancellations after September 13, 2021.  Registration is NOT transferable, not even between members of the same law firm, if you will not be able to attend TAPS please submit a timely cancellation.  If you cannot attend and you missed the cancellation deadline, your will receive access to the TAPS Conference APP and all speaker materials via the access discussed below.  You can make arrangements for your t-shirt to be mailed to you by sending an email to pd@txpd.org.

Hotel Guest Room Reservations – The Omni San Antonio Hotel at the Colonnade is located at  9821 Colonnade Boulevard, San Antonio, Texas 78230. The hotel reservation deadline is Monday, August 30, 2021. Hotel reservations must be booked and cancelled through The Omni. Guest room rate is $135.00 for single/double. All guest rooms are listed under TAPS 2021 – Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas. To reserve a guest room, either register online, or call 1-800-843-6664 and reference the group code TAPS 2021. Note: If the desired room you are reserving is not available online, please call 1-800-843-6664.  The hotel offers Self-Parking at No Charge and Valet Parking at $15.00 per day.

Transportation:  The Omni San Antonio at the Colonnade is approximately 9 miles from the San Antonio airport.  For information regarding  The Omni Hotel their website HERE.

Speaker Materials:  A TAPS Conference App will be provided to all TAPS attendees.  The TAPS App will include names of speakers, speaker presentations, and a schedule of the presentations in addition to other information.  Each pre-registered attendee will receive access to a website on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 to print or download the speaker materials in PDF prior to the seminar.  Speaker notebooks and CD-ROM diskettes will not be available for the 2021 TAPS Seminar.  A printed schedule of speakers will be available on-site.

On-site:  On-site check in is required.  Name badges are required for admittance to CLE programs and tickets are required for admittance to the socials, the Friday luncheon and for box lunches on Thursday (box lunches are not a part of the registration fee).  Door prizes will be drawn during the social events and luncheon; must be present to win.  Dress is casual for classroom; you are encouraged to bring a sweater or jacket as room temperature can be chilly.  All personal property left in the event space is at the sole risk of the owner.  You are responsible for the safekeeping of your personal property.  Additional information about socials and attire for the Thursday social will be sent to registered attendees a couple of weeks before TAPS.
